Le Voyage nous mène, à travers la fiction du « Voyage au centre de la Terre » de Jules Verne, à la rencontre d’une femme, bel et bien réelle, ayant fui son pays par instinct de survie. Sa voix nous parle, dans le noir, pendant que les protagonistes de la fiction descendent… Jusqu’où? Le voyage, acte de bravoure lorsqu’on en lit les péripéties des plus audacieux dans les textes épiques et romanesques, que devient-il, confronté à la réalité de celles et ceux qui le vivent malgré eux?

Le documentaire qui suit a été réalisé dans le cadre du projet « Sous Silence ». Ce projet transmédia a été mis sur pied par les étudiants en journalisme de l’ULB. Il entend tendre le micro à ceux qui échappent habituellement aux préoccupations de notre société. Ici en l’occurrence, il s’agit de la communauté yézidie installée chez nous, à Liège, depuis deux générations. Largement méconnue en Belgique, cette communauté kurdophone souffre de ce silence qu’elle perçoit parfois comme de l’indifférence. Si les yézidis n’évoquent pour rien vous, c’est donc l’occasion d’en savoir plus sur cette minorité culturelle et religieuse. Halima Moane Sahli
