Nous avons créé Rakonto pour nous raconter des histoires – les histoires qui nous intéressent -, faire entendre les voix trop lointaines, trop solitaires, trop faibles, et être un maillon dans la chaîne de transmission, le vaste réseau parallèle qui œuvre à passer, de mémoire en mémoire, la mémoire, la voix et les histoires des vaincu.es.
Cette fois-ci, ce sont les mots de Valerie Solanas (Ventnor City, 1936 – San Francisco, 1988) que nous avons voulu dépoussiérer, l’autrice du SCUM Manifesto, texte sulfureux, ovni politico-littéraire auto-édité en 1967.
Mais c’est le 3 juin 1968 que Valerie Solanas devient « célèbre », lorsqu’elle tire et blesse Andy Warhol. « Célébrité » mal acquise ne profite guère : elle finira sa vie seule, malade et oubliée de tou.tes.
De tou.tes ? Non, car quelques irréductibles féministes, anarchistes et petites artistes (en opposition au.x Grand.es Artiste.s) luttent encore et toujours contre les placards, vieilles malles et fosses communes, déterrent les cadavres et resèment la tempête.
SCUM is fun – un documentaire sonore autour de Valerie Solanas réfléchit au destin de ce texte et de cette autrice inclassables et cherche à faire entendre ce que l’un et l’autre ont encore à nous dire.
